[2021] 9th German-Brazilian Dialogue on Science, Research and Innovation

Cities and Climate – The Multi-level Governance Challenge

Virtual

About the event

From May 17th to 20th, the virtual 9th German-Brazilian  Dialogue on Science, Research and Innovation will discuss the impacts of climate change on the development of the cities of the future. The effects of climate change at the local level not only contribute to global changes but are also affected by them. Connecting both scales – global and local – enables a greater understanding of climate change in all its complexity. Topics such as governance, science and technology and their uses to monitor, mitigate and adapt to climate change will be at the centre of the discussions.
The event is co-organized by DWIH São Paulo and FAPESP, and is supported by Mecila. All meetings will be held in English.
