About the event

Aby Warburg (1866-1929) had and still has a high level of professional designation consumption. He was called an art historian, a father of German cultural studies, a father of modern image science, and a banker. In his Mecila Distinguished Lecture, Prof. Fabian Steinhauer (Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory) will present the legal scholar, jurist, and polar explorer Aby Warburg and his history and theory of vague associations.
