Kanzler Fellowship
Members of Mecila as well as former Fellows, whose work is closely related to Mecila’s content issues, can be given the opportunity of a Kanzler Fellowship for up to 3 months in Cologne by means of an grant. This visit is coordinated between the Fellows and the University of Cologne for investigation and cooperation purposes.
During this period, the visitors work on research questions relevant or related to MECILA and actively participate in the research program of MECILA. They shall contribute to the discussion of their own research results in the context of a workshop and public lecture as well as assist in making them visible through the channels of MECILA.
Each visitor leads a workshop in Cologne for the local scientific community. Visiting researchers are also expected to actively participate in local research activities such as the Global South Studies Center “Work in Progress”.
